To my Teacher Debs,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
You're not mistaken, it's her birthday today! And guess what, we made this normal day a special day just for our awe-inspiring adviser and teacher. She was our mother for the past five months and will still be for the next six months of our junior life. She's different from the others, she's one of a kind. Our teacher is worth a thousand praises!
Our teacher stands as our second mother-full of kindness and genuine affection. A sun that lightens up our souls and a fresh water filled with bountiful love. A gift of our Father God. She is truly a blessing to her kindred and to her comrades, especially to us.
She got married just this year, probably last summer, to her husband of course. Our teacher doesn't have any babies yet. I repeat, no babies YET, but of course we are praying for her to have cute little toddlers soon.
FIVE THINGS ABOUT MY TEACHER THAT I L♥VE
♥ She introduces the lesson well, making it easier for us to understand.
♥ Our teacher is kawaii (cute).
♥ She loves her students.
♥ She's supportive. She's always there whenever we have competitions.
♥ Our teacher is talented and intelligent. She knows how to play the guitar and sing and is smart in every way.
THE SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY
We were all writing our parents consent for tomorrow's film viewing of "PARAISO"
at the KCC Mall of Gensan, when my classmate Leah told our teacher that teacher Myrna has something to tell her. We used that little time to arranged our chairs towards the corners of the room, leaving the middle part, somewhat empty. We placed a chair in the middle and above it was a cartolina scribbled with the words "Happy Bdei Tchr Debs" and "Thank U and We luv U." We wrote our simple messages and wishes in the cartolina. There were three balloons of differnt colors.
Before our instructor entered the classroom, we were all grouped together in the middle, the boys were holding heart-shaped cartolina's, and sang the Happy Birthday Song in chorused. She was surprised. I can see white pearls coming out from her crystal eyes- tears of joy. I can tell she was happy and surprised. Our teacher was told to go to the chair situated in the middle of the room. There, she saw her little cute birthday cup cakes with the candle numbered 52 on it. No, our teacher Debs is not that old, it's just that we are 52 in the classroom. She blew her candles and smiled.

THE Yummy CUPCAKES

Whatta BANNER
Then, Leah asked teacher to go outside for another surprise and when she did, she saw the band playing their xylophones and drums in a Happy Birthday tune. Our classmate Braga- who cross-dressed as a girl, danced in the middle just like a gypsy. The funny part here is that,he was still wearing a girls clothes- a spaghetti-strap clothe and shorts. Teacher Debs cried even more but her smile never did fade away.
Back to the room. Inside, we were asked to give our sensei (teacher) a wish. What's my wish for her? Well, I wished that she will have a good life together with her new family and even though she'll encounter some situations that are not favorable to her, God will always be there and I know she'll be able to over come it. Because she's our teacher and because she's the mother of the Arcega babies!! After that wish-a-wish, the boys presented our teacher a song, same as through with the girls. We also sang our group song, "PASAWAY"- composed by Marylyn Hoyla.

RHYL and T. Debs

Muwahhh~
Teacher told us that our group is one of a kind. Even though we are reprimanded for a hundred and even for a million times, we still do not allow hatred to live inside our hearts. She also praised our boys. She told them that even though they are CLEVER most of the time, the are still malambing or sweet. I agree- boys truly are sweet yet naughty. haha. Don't take the wrong idea~Anyways, back to the bday surprise, we ended it up with of course eating~.. and what food was it? Of course the CUPCAKES~..
Yummy cupcakes~...but it was still not enough.
To my Teacher Debs,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
AND
GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS..
