Cheating: A Virulent Virus

The word cheating is not anymore rare for us to hear.It's present in every corner of a possible habitat. In case you don't know, cheating is defined as being unfair or having deceived someone. It may and can be one of the causes of turning into a horrible-copying-evil specie.

A lot of people in this world is carrying this virulent virus and it can be passed on and on and on from one individual to another. I've found out that cheating even exists in a classroom for fast-learners. But I guess, not everything you expect will always be.

-Assignments-No they're not doing that! They're just copying notes from their seat mates and/or friends.
-Quizzes? A time to exercise their necks to be able to see their seat mates answer.
- What about Exams? A feast for cheaters. They often throw papers with their answers inside and exchange test papers to copy all those darn wrong answers.!

Are students and individuals like that worth a 100%? What about those who felt like drowning in a quicksand, waking early in the morning just to study a 100 pages book and not even dared to copy even a single letter from her classmates paper? What's wrong with the world? What's with its people?

And, what can I say to those people who's infected by the virus?
** You are nut deserving..

Admit it or not, we are all tempted to cheat at times, but, hey, we must not go in with the temptation. It's only the devil who wants us to that. We can avoid cheating..We can cure this virulent virus-slowly, but surely. Let's start within ourselves, then let's proceed in healing others.

After the wonderful 2nd Minadanao Bloggers Summit, me and mom joined the optional tour. Why optional? Because, some bloggers aren't able to join since, maybe, they have tons of things to do and discuss back home. So, that's it.

There were lot of fishes there (Duh!of course~), I mean HUGE fishes and lots of boats.I wasn't able to go to the place where they sell fishes because their boots are limited. No boots no enter. Um, to clear your thoughts, I don't mean those boots which girls often use in their shopping spree but those which are usually use by farmers and fishermen.Got it right? Some of the bloggers were able to go there though. I envy them. hehe.

SARANGANI HIGHLANDS

This is a really great place to go to and I recommend this to those who would like to visit Gensan. It has a beautiful scenery since it's situated in a high place. It's surrounded by dozens of various sweet-smelling-pretty-looking flowers. It's also suitable for a couple's date. It has a romantic feel at night and sweet aromatic smells. They also serve yummy foods such as tuna sandwich. I wasn't able to eat one do but I was able to drink a juice. Sigh~

Manny "PACMAN" Pacquiao's RESIDENCE

Last stop is Manny Pacquiao's Resisdence. Yes, you're not mistaken, we were able to go inside his house for half an hour and take pictures. We really didn't totally go inside the house, but at least we were able to see what it looks like. Man, he has tons of cars...hehe.I saw his baby girl above the house, she was glancing at everyone, maybe she's wondering why were there lots of people inside their compound. I was able to roam around and was amazed of it's hugeness. There were pools at the back of his house and in front of it, are his pictures during his fights. I'm glad I joined.lol.

A Spectacular Event ; A Wonderful Experience Part 2

After Lunch came the sharing and discussion about the new social Media and blogging tips.
Aileen Apolo of Google Philippines gave some Tips and discussed about the new media for Mindanao Bloggers. Ms. Ria Jose, an entrepreneur and a blogger talked about blogging the entrepreneur way of life. A professional photographer and blogger, Mr. Bobby A. Timonera, showed several images of Mindanao. It was then followed by several shout-outs of known bloggers
from different parts of Mindanao like Dr Bone MD an Outdoor Lifestyle Blogger, a Tech blogger like Mr. Migs Hippolito, Mikko Gonzalo-a student blogger, Mr. Blogie Robillo a Food Blogger, an advocacy blogger like Mark Aethen and Sir Avel also known as "BAriles"-a place blogger. After all those talks, THE USUAL SUSPECTS presented the 1st summit resolution and explained what it's all about. The closing message was delivered by Mr. Hector Miñoza.

After spending a lot of time sitting, finally, we got to eat some mouthwatering goodies. I ate a lot because it's a once in a lifetime experience. Better not let the chance pass by.haha. After this, we had our dinner accompanied by a harmonious music. I was able to watch the performance of teatro AMBAHANON. I was like- Oh my Gosh!..I love their performance. it's totally cool. I love the way they dance, their lifting and their moves. (Makabalig bukog)

Entrecard DROPPING

Hey guys, I haven't dropped cards on you today, and I apologize for that. I wasn't able to do what always seemed to be my-oops, I mean my moms daily routine. She drops for me, kay? I often not drop EC's on you guys, due to my very, very, totally busy schedule at school. It's all thanks to my dearest mommy that my blog still gains visitors.

Anyways, I just wanna utter again the word "sorry" to my regular droppers because I was not able to drop. But, me and mommie will be seeing you at your drop inbox after the 2MBS-it'll end tomorrow. Well, the answer is yes. Why? because too much green turns me into a goat and I don't wanna be one. It's just, well, sort of dark and I can't use uber light colors-it's not pleasing for the eyes- Color combinations matter. A Spectacular Event ; A Wonderful Experience

The 2nd Mindanao Blogger's Summit was held at Family Country Hotel, General Santos City last 25th day of October this year with its theme "Mindanawon Paminawon Intawon: Blogging the Mindanao Consciousness." It was a spectacular event where a great number of bloggers attended and enjoyed a lot. Of course, it includes your lollii-pii .

I woke up early in the morning since I am part of the registration committee and we needed to be there earlier than the other bloggers from different localities :D. Together with me were Ate Myla, Ate Ellaine, My mom, Ate Rea and Ate Zenaida, Ate Rosilie and Ate Psyche. After finishing our breakfast at McDonalds, we immediately went back to our venue. We saw couple of bloggers waiting there and, as Generals, we made them feel at home. Tons were bringing their own laptops that's why some of us in the group wished to have one soon. And, since the venue was a wi-fi hot spot, it was easy for the bloggers to look at their blogs from time to time. At exactly 7:00-8:30 a.m the bloggers registered themselves at the computers provided by ACLC College. Then, they presented their MBS2 e-pass and we had given them their freebies.. :P

Official Opening of 2MBS~♥

The earlier part of the program is consist of the Welcoming and Summit Overview of Bariles himself , Sir Avel, the presentation of MBS history of Sir Blogie Robillo and the message of the City Mayor. Mayor Pedro Acharon Jr., wasn't able to come so, he sent a representative in behalf of him. The sharing and discussions about the Mindanao Consciousness started at 9 in the morning and ended up at 11:oo. The three honorable speakers were Sir Pierre Tito Galla, Sir Walter I. Balane and Sir Hector P. Miñoza who tackled on how the people outside Mindanao look at it and how Mindanawons can change their negative perspectives on the beautiful island of Mindanao. An hour were given for our open forum in which several individuals asked questions and was answered directly by the speaker. Together with their words were their voices which helped a lot in encouraging other bloggers to unite for our country's advancement.

After the Open Forum was our long-awaited LUNCH. Everyone is surely hungry after that numerous talks about our responsibilities as bloggers. I had great time eating foods, because everything was free. We had Chicken, fish fillet and rice . We had sotanghon noodles with coca-cola and fruit salad for desert. I chit chat with some friends and asked for their url's. I'm glad I joined this event and I'm looking forward for more events which promotes blogging such as this one.

Little Singing Heartthrob

ABS-CBN Network launched Pinoy Dream Academy's, "Little Dreamers Competition," last July 6 of this year. This contest featured twelve children, ages six to ten, with excellent singing talents. One competitor of this said event is "Philip Nadela"- a nine-year old boy wonder from General Santos City who was recognized as the "FIRST LITTLE GRAND STAR WINNER " garnering 191,060 or 40.47% of over-all text votes. His winning piece was "You raise me Up" which is one of Josh Groban's Hit. Little grand Star Dreamer Philip won a Home Theater from Sony, a House and Lot from Globe Asiatique, and one million peso cheque.

On the other hand, Amy Nobleda- a six-year old girl from Las Piñas- landed as Pinoy Dream Academy's 2nd Little Dreamer. She got 31.03% or 146,478 text votes and took home P500,000 cheque as her prize. Angelo Garcia, six year old from Oriental Mindoro, was the 3^rd Little Star Dreamer. He got 28.5% or 134,559 text votes and won P300,000 cheque as prize. All these kids are spectacular and no one goes home a loser.

I am proud of Philip and his victory wouldn't be possible without his parent's support and comfort, his friend's shouts and the non-stop text votes of his loyal fans. I admit, little Philip never failed to amaze me. He has a great voice and energetic moves which made people wonder where it came from for he owns a petite body. He is just like Philippines another Charice Pempengco. A kid whom Filipinos can be proud of. Way to go Philip!

This post is dedicated to my "KAWAII" Followers. I did not -really- expect that I would have blog followers. Silly me. Well, the idea that someone would follow my blog didn't really entered my brain until I saw my blogger friend Bonz or sis Bonz ,as i often call her, followed my blog which made me so Happii!! She's a good friend though I seldom chat with her due to my busy schedule. She has a cute baby girl-little Zoie- whom resembles both her parents love and care.

Next one would be my mother. Well, she was the one who told me to blog.At first, I find it boring and a waste of time but as time passes by, I grew fond of it and I'm loving it! She stopped blogging since- I forgot when. But, she started again with the name star-chuu. I suggested that name.it sounds cute, right? oh yeah, she's the one who is helping me in dropping EC's on you guys. ^^.. She helps me in everything and I'm proud of my mommie. So cute and so lovely. And it made me even more happier to know that she's interested in my blog- of course?- "HellO", I'm her daughter. Thanks mom-Love yah!

And the last but not the least is *drum rolls* Ate Allena! She one great cousin of Ate Ellaine (LAINY). She is a blogger and a true loyal servant of GOD. She loves her family and friends -who wouldn't?

When Will I Be On ToP?

I feel envious whenever my friends would receive an award, an appreciation and gifts. But, I never failed to congratulate them whenever they did. I feel happy and jealous. Never did I experienced in my life, my teachers ever appreciating me and encouraging me but received nothing but a rotten smile and a "better-luck next time."

I've given them my best but I guess, as what a particular song says, "my best wasn't good enough." I wish that I would be there with my friends and classmates up on the stage sharing the spotlight and shouts of joys with them. But what can I do?..there's nothing else that I'm capable of doing other than dreaming. It has been my past time and my everything... because that is what I am...a dreamer and no one else. I know how to sing but they are better singers than me, they sing songs following the rhythm and tune, not like I. I enjoyed dancing my way in and out but never did I surpass them that lived their life through dancing. Acting has been one of my passion but there are people who are more recognized in that category than I. I suck! There's nothing I can do...

I never did excel in my studies because of mathematics and my dumbness. It has been a burden in my life since I entered high school. there is none to teach me not even my mama for she knows nothing about it aside from loving. I hate being the tail... I wish to be someday the head. I envy those who are known for what they are good in. I wish I was also on their shoes.

Whenever I strive hard to reach those dreams, I fall down to the earth's pit, showering me with shame and shouts of criticism, hate and nothingness.

What's good in me anyway?
Nothing, I guess, I may have the talents, a little brain and the skills but no one did I surpass. When will I be recognized? When will I be on top? When will I be the star?

The BIRTHDAY Chic [♥]

We all know the word birthday and are happy to be still able to experience it. It is the best part of our life aside from celebrating Christmas and Valentines day. It's more than giving chocolates and sweets and a lot more than singing carols on streets. It's special as what the birthday celebrant is.

My APOLOGIES..

Hey guys, I have a problem with my personal computer at home today..I accidentally destroyed our mouse..T_T..so that means I can't drop card on you today..It's a very sad-sad-sad-sad news...But don't worry I will buy a new mouse for my pc..better yet, dad will buy me one. haha..Right now, I'm here at Surallah a very far away province from Gensan City..I'm attending the burial of my uncle who died last week of last month. I cried you know..It's just so sad..I can't even imagine that he's gone..He was so good and all..huhuh..

back to the topic..

Well, yes there is an internet connection in here but it's just so so so slow..hehe..well not so slow..sort of..

..And I have a good news for myself..I already bought two small Yerba buena plant for my experiment and the bad news is it's so petite that it won't count up to 100 g in total..and I don't know how to cultivate my bacteria..

Hey guys!! Do you know what's the latest news about my blog??..If not I'll tell you..

I already made 101 posts!! Isn't it great?..I've been blogging for a few months now and wasn't aware of how many posts I made. my bad.. I started since summer (here in the Philippines) because that's the only vacant time I have. My first post was entitled Parents Day and there were a lot of good features that I made. It was fun..I think i'm going to love blogging more that usual like what you're doing now..

THE JUNIORS~Part 2

I'm back with lots of happy stories to tell you. So, this is what happened during our 2nd day Intramural...

I arrived a little early in our school's covered court, still wearing the shirt I was wearing during our first Intrams, my mom washed it . I could've washed it myself but I was so tired to stand up.
Good thing, I wasn't late-again. I chit chat with some friends and headed my way to the bench. I really can't feel my body back then probably because I played soccer? Mama was a little irritated when she heard I played soccer..haha.. Gomenasai Okka-chan!! Oh~ this is us waiting for the event to start.



There were lots of cheers for our candidates who're joining the Mr. and Ms. intramurals. My classmates and friends wouldn't stop shouting~! We even made paper banners for them. We scrambled their names to make a new one just like those of kim and gerals (KimErald). Anther and Nina were our entries..hehe..so we made it Antherina && Ninanther. It sounds good, isn't it?
The image below makes us look like we're a bunch of fans waiting for the most famous actress n' actor. It isn't supposed to say Go! ant~ nah nah~ It says Go! Antherina~! Who won?..It's a secret for now..



Oh, we won lots of trophies and medals. Just like what I wrote in the first part. We almost took all the trophies in the table..haha~ and guess what? The JUNIORS were the champion of the event next is the sophies followed by the seniors and the freshmen. It was our first time conquering almost all games. I had so much fun seeing lots of trophies..Below are some photos taken with my friends holding our trophies. It's not just a two nor a three but it's a...a...a don't know. lol~was it good?..I don't think so. Anyways, the first photo was the trophy for the girl's soccer (CHAMPION) and the next, is the over-all champion trophy.





Back to the pageant..Wanna know who won??..The Ms. Intrams '08 was Ms. Nina Isabel Paulo, a junior and a pretty,genius lady ans the Mr. Intrams '08 was a second year. Anter got the place for the 2nd runner-up. Good Job Guys~~
