COOKie Queen

ugly?

The Cookie STORY
a sweet delicacy

I've never ever had even a single interest in baking. I find it BORING and TOO HARD TO MAKE. I'll just waste my time. I admit, I'm a lazy individual but I do some work once in a blue moon. So, the day DECEMBER 31 came. As usual, I woke up LATE, I spent the whole yesterday with my best buds, what can I do, It's a total girl night out. And no, Puh-lease, we didn't go to a bar or a club, neither of the two exists here in our place. Oh, back to the story.. `

Well, the 31st day of December is one of my best buds' birthday. So, mom told me to bake something for her. That's if I wanted to. I helped her sift the cocoa, though. and..and.. measure it. i spent a couple of minutes, brainstorming. If I'll bake or not. At last! I came up with a magnificent ANSWER. Guess what? It's a YES. Yeah~ As expected.

I made a cookie. A sugar cookie. Have you ever tasted it before? let me describe it. It's white, and has a sugar sprinkled on top of it which make it a sugar cookie. trust me guys, It's suitable for any occasion. Birthdays. Christmas. Picnics. New Year. Name it, It's totally gonna make the party nicer.

i just hope that Irish loves the cookies and I also gave Julie some. My aunt and mom told me that the cookies I made were delicious.

They Announced it wrong!!

Sorry for the delay of this post. I'm,sort of, busy with my other blog. Yes.. I made a new one and Thanks God, tons of visitors are leaving loads of cutie comments. Oh, for this post, I just wanna say to you that We WON the CHOIR COMPETITION. Yes, we did it!!

A fellow classmate of mine told me the very good news. At first, I thought it was a joke. But, no it's NOT. Just by hearing that we won the competition made me smile. I need to confirm it to my dear sensei (teacher) though. And the story behind this? I will relate it to you.

My classmate told me that our prinicipal Mrs. Rizza went to meet one of the judges. Well, One of them honestly confessed that they tricked us. Well, Mr. judge, good TRICKING. They made fun of us in the stage, in front of the crowd. Damn them! Haha. May konsensya pa pala siya. ^^. I just hope that this would not happen again. Anyways, Thank you Mr. Judge for being H-O-N-E-S-T.

And that's the end.

"We lost but everythings worth it"

In a competition, there are people whom we call the champions of the game and also, people who lack the luck of winning. The real essence of competing is building up unity among the members and not just merely proclaiming yourself as a victor.

Busy.Busy.Busy
Three words that would describe my sweet Saturday. It was also the time that our team would stand up on stage, singing and dancing. Half the day, we practiced our choreography and our song. the other half was intended for our make-up session and preparation. Everything was set when the clock strike five. We took quite a little number of photographs of our dear selves. Then, we proceeded on our last two practice.

We went to the oval plaza fifteen minutes before six. I never felt my heart beating so fast. I wasn't nervous.. Maybe because I'm immune in these kind of things? We were the first one to present. The first years, were both excited and I can feel that there hearts beat fast like that of a running jaguar.

During the presentation, I never expected that there would be tons of people that'll give us a nice warm applause . With that, I know they enjoyed our presentation and LOVED it. We made them smile. Dad, my mom and some of my classmates told me that our presentation never bored them. It was fun and they thought we would win. That's what I thought too. But, God is generous. He gave the others the chance to prove their selves. The Victors were from Holy Trinity College, 1st runner-up goes to MSU, 2nd Runner-up goes to... (sorry.. I'm suffering from memory loss. so as usual, I forgot about the name of the school) and the last place goes to us-SPED.

Even though, we weren't victorious, at least we did our best. It does not mean that if a man loses in a game, then he'll remain a loser till eternity. Everyone has his own time to shine. We all possess both the beauty and the grace within ourselves. What matters most, is the way we apply it for the justness of our lives and for others also. Never learn to give up if you know you have a chance. Winning is just a single glimpse away.

SPED UNTIED~

So guys, we're going to join a choir competition and its going to be tonight. haha. It 'll be held at Gensan's Oval Plaza. I guess, there will be at least 4 schools that'll participate. It's another reason why I have no time for my blog. (har-har). I would be glad if you were there. haha.

What are we going to sing?

Just your typical visayan song. Yah- we're turning bisdak! it's particularly the Visayan version of Noche Buena and the other is-...I don't know the title. But it goes like this-- ♪♫Maglipay kita, Niining panahuna...Kay natawo na si Hesus nga manunubos..♪ ♫..and so on and so fort.

Oh yah, my dad is going to watch me. Love you dad!.. Speaking of dad, he's birthday is drawing near. and guess what, I have a special gift for him. haha.

That's all. Thank you.

(Got to hurry now. I have a choir practice to attend to!)

A day with mom and Two days with dad

SATURDAY BONDING

Ah~ After those hard days work at school, at last, I was able to have a three-day shopping special! Saturday was my happy bonding with my mama. We both watched twilight. I told her that it was a good show- well, that's what my friends told me. We watched the movie together at the mall and of course, we loved it! Twilight is a young adult vampire-romance novel written by author Stephenie Meyer.. Twilight has been adapted into a film by Summit Entertainment. The film was directed by Catherine Hardwicke and stars Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson as protagonists Isabella Swan and Edward Cullen, respectively. The screenplay was adapted by Melissa Rosenberg.

SUNDAY CINEMA

After going to church, mom and dad met up at our house to talk about their business plans. Don't get confused but they're separated that's why dad doesn't live on the same house as mine. Dad asked me if I want to watch a movie. And guess what I replied..Of course, the common thing that your children would say- who would say no to watching movies?

So, then, we first watched Quantum of Solace starring Daniel Craig. I've nothing to say aside from It's cool. Man, I love the way he crush his enemies. Way to go James Bond! After the show, we went out to eat at KFC. I love their chickens there. So juicy!. I had a picture with me and my dad eating. Haha. (I'll upload it soon)

He bought me a new casing for my cellphone and I chose BLACK. Tell me, Black is cool right? Also, I asked him to buy me a new sim. haha. We went to Tambler afterwards, because he's going to talk to someone there- I guess dad calls her Dadang. They talked about business for a couple of minutes. Dad asked me if I wanna go see another movie again and so I said yes. We watched "BOLT" at the cinemas and I so love the cartoons. It makes me feel that I'm a kid again. I love BOLT. The best! Dad kept on laughing about the show. He told me he loves fantasies and supernaturals and of course, cartoons! I never know you like cartoons dad!

MONDAY WITH PAPA

I still kept on thinking about those happy moments I have with my dad. Even if it was just half of the whole 24 hours. I missed him. haha. I'm so happy that he came back and asked me,again, If I wanted to watch another movie. I was so happy to hear tha phrase -Do you want to watche another movie, anak? Ah~ I said Yes! and picked Madagascar 2. The show was fine. I love Alex when he was still a cub. So cute~ I find the plot great! Oh-yah~ before we watched a movie, we ate at KFC again! After the show, we went to gaisano and ate there again. I was so full when I went back home. Ah~ Papa is currently on his way now on Surallah. It'll take you hours before you get there. It's a hundred kilometers away from us-from me. i'll miss you dad and I will always pray for your health and your family. I love you!!Muwaah~

I Joined the Choir and now What??

I am now a member of our school's s choral group and the only girl to join the choir in our section. Yes.. I am the only girl..THE ONLY..~ and it's making me out of place. They're all boys and I am no close friends with the freshmen. The 2nd and the 4th years weren't allowed to join the choir.. and the reason is? I don't know.

I'm happy and sad. Happy, because I'll be able to join an inter-school competition and sad, because my classmates who joined the choir are mainly boys. It's not that i don't want nor like to be with them.. It's just that, Boys and Girls are still different in several aspects. Boys talk about this while Girls talk about that. Blah~blah~blah~....

Sigh....I don't know what to do!!?!

Camping: An Open Road to Adventures

3-ARCEGA

Last Friday, October 21st of this year, GSC SPED Integrated School held a thrill-seeking event- the Boys and Girls Scouts camping, that were both participated by the elementary and high school students. The designated camp location is the school's second site situated at Barangay San Isidro, General Santos City. The camping lasted for two days and a night only. The scouting facilitator of the said event was Mr. Edmund Santos.

Of course, I joined this fantastic event! To tell you the truth, I had a hard time in packing my clothes and my other things.. I almost turned our house into a huge garbage can!.. I'm just glad that mom wasn't there. If she was, I'd be in hot water.

I arrived at the site together with Julie, my classmate and friend. We had three tents all in all for our Patrol. We named it- "CHUVANESS PATROL. "Sounds gay, eh?? Anyways, our patrol is composed of 11 members: Nina, Alma (group leader), Kimberly, Julie, Me, Hannah, Cherry, Vina, Methus, Rachel and Marie.

OUR TENTS

The first night was uber fun. We had a candle light dinner. Um..our viand?? We had, hotdogs, rice and afridobo (afritada + adobo). I envy the boys..They had porkchop for dinner.. oh-so yummy..!!

CUTIES: ALMA, NINA and HANNAH

YUMMY DINNER

I enjoyed every activity that I'm into. hahaha. I wasn't able to sleep very well though..It's too hot inside the tent. The next day, we woke up five in the morning and jogged from our school to somewhere else I don't know. I wasn't able to take my bath after the exercise since, we're going to have an activity at the irrigation.

We had several activities including the fire exit, where one needs to climb up and tap the branch of the tree using the rope they tied on it. (Gah~ do u understand??), Blind maze(my favorite), Object retrieval, carabao riding, Operation Silo, CPR (My first kiss was stolen..huhu) and many more.

I surely enjoyed our activity at the irrigation. Our objective was to overflow the drum with 20 holes.. Some, took the water from the irrigation and the others covered the holes. it was extremely fun.. Trust me! after we overflowed it, we immediately jumped towards the irrigation with floating filthy organisms. nyak~

We took lots of pictures after the camping. ^^.. It surely was a fun and exciting experience. It thought me how to be independent without the aid of my parents. Yah~ I'm a daredevil~

EIGHT RANDOM THiNGS

I was sooo soo soo busy these past few days. i wasn't able to update my blog for the whole week until now.

I received a message from my sis bonz telling me that she tagged me. It made me smile, of course. Thanks for the tag sis!!

Here are the rules:

1 - Each player starts with eight random fact/habits about themselves.
2 - People who are tagged need to write their own blog about their eight things and post these rules.
3 - At the end of your blog post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their name.
4 - Don’t forget to leave them a comment telling them they’re tagged and to read your blog.

EIGHT RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME

* I go crazy over cute stuffs. I love seeing cute bears, dolls and other kawaii things. I guess I was addicted to it since i started blogging and got addicted to friendster.
* I like guys with a great sense of humor. Trust me, I easily laugh hard over useless silly things. I enjoy laughing and smiling all the time.
* I imagine a lot of things. I love imagining random things and it's just like reality with clear images but the difference is- it's happening inside my mind.
* I am emotionally sensitive. Criticize me once and humiliate me twice- Oh! Please don't 'cause you'll see me in one corner, cryings.
* I am spiritually-mature. I know that God has some plans for me and my future. He won't be able to leave me empty-handed, right?..I just love reading the bible and ,of course, applying it in the real life.
* I never let anyone know who is the real me. I don't tell secrets even to my friends- my mom is excluded. Maybe because, I don't trust anyone other than those people whom I have been with for years and still not faking their relationship w/ me.
* I love my dad.. I don't know if he knows that... but I really do love him after those things that he did to us..I'm always praying for his good health and his future.
* I love to draw chibi anime's and speak and learn basic japanese..I also love singing korean songs and taiwanese songs && I also love to speak using their language...But, i'm not that fluent though...~

To My Teacher Debs....

To my Teacher Debs,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

You're not mistaken, it's her birthday today! And guess what, we made this normal day a special day just for our awe-inspiring adviser and teacher. She was our mother for the past five months and will still be for the next six months of our junior life. She's different from the others, she's one of a kind. Our teacher is worth a thousand praises!

Our teacher stands as our second mother-full of kindness and genuine affection. A sun that lightens up our souls and a fresh water filled with bountiful love. A gift of our Father God. She is truly a blessing to her kindred and to her comrades, especially to us.

She got married just this year, probably last summer, to her husband of course. Our teacher doesn't have any babies yet. I repeat, no babies YET, but of course we are praying for her to have cute little toddlers soon.
FIVE THINGS ABOUT MY TEACHER THAT I L♥VE

♥ She introduces the lesson well, making it easier for us to understand.
♥ Our teacher is kawaii (cute).
♥ She loves her students.
♥ She's supportive. She's always there whenever we have competitions.
♥ Our teacher is talented and intelligent. She knows how to play the guitar and sing and is smart in every way.

THE SURPRISE BIRTHDAY PARTY

We were all writing our parents consent for tomorrow's film viewing of "PARAISO"
at the KCC Mall of Gensan, when my classmate Leah told our teacher that teacher Myrna has something to tell her. We used that little time to arranged our chairs towards the corners of the room, leaving the middle part, somewhat empty. We placed a chair in the middle and above it was a cartolina scribbled with the words "Happy Bdei Tchr Debs" and "Thank U and We luv U." We wrote our simple messages and wishes in the cartolina. There were three balloons of differnt colors.

Before our instructor entered the classroom, we were all grouped together in the middle, the boys were holding heart-shaped cartolina's, and sang the Happy Birthday Song in chorused. She was surprised. I can see white pearls coming out from her crystal eyes- tears of joy. I can tell she was happy and surprised. Our teacher was told to go to the chair situated in the middle of the room. There, she saw her little cute birthday cup cakes with the candle numbered 52 on it. No, our teacher Debs is not that old, it's just that we are 52 in the classroom. She blew her candles and smiled.

THE Yummy CUPCAKES

Whatta BANNER

Then, Leah asked teacher to go outside for another surprise and when she did, she saw the band playing their xylophones and drums in a Happy Birthday tune. Our classmate Braga- who cross-dressed as a girl, danced in the middle just like a gypsy. The funny part here is that,he was still wearing a girls clothes- a spaghetti-strap clothe and shorts. Teacher Debs cried even more but her smile never did fade away.

Back to the room. Inside, we were asked to give our sensei (teacher) a wish. What's my wish for her? Well, I wished that she will have a good life together with her new family and even though she'll encounter some situations that are not favorable to her, God will always be there and I know she'll be able to over come it. Because she's our teacher and because she's the mother of the Arcega babies!! After that wish-a-wish, the boys presented our teacher a song, same as through with the girls. We also sang our group song, "PASAWAY"- composed by Marylyn Hoyla.

RHYL and T. Debs

Muwahhh~

Teacher told us that our group is one of a kind. Even though we are reprimanded for a hundred and even for a million times, we still do not allow hatred to live inside our hearts. She also praised our boys. She told them that even though they are CLEVER most of the time, the are still malambing or sweet. I agree- boys truly are sweet yet naughty. haha. Don't take the wrong idea~Anyways, back to the bday surprise, we ended it up with of course eating~.. and what food was it? Of course the CUPCAKES~..

Yummy cupcakes~...but it was still not enough.

To my Teacher Debs,
HAPPY BIRTHDAY
AND
GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS..

CROSS-DRESSING

Hey, guys! What's up? I haven't wrote anything since my last post. I've been caught up with a lot of work, especially on my investigatory project. Anyways, i have this question for you. Do you know the meaning of CROSS-DRESSING? and have you ever tried it yourself?

Well, for your information, cross-dressing is defined as the act of wearing clothing commonly associated with another gender-by wikipedia. Cross-dressers are NOT homosexuals! People just take the wrong idea about them. There's a gap between the two so don't connect cross-dressing behavior with transgender identity. It does not mean that a guy who cross-dresses as a girl is a gay. Got it?

There are varieties of cross-dressing.

For COMFORT and STYLE.
Some people cross-dress either for style or comfort. They have a preference towards clothing/s which is connected with the opposite sex. In this case, a person's cross-dressing may or may not be visible to other people. Some individuals cross-dress to just merely surprise social norms.

DISGUISE
Cross-dressing is able to help both men and women in hiding their true identity. Historically, some women have cross-dressed in order to take up male-dominated or male-exclusive professions, such as military service. Conversely, some men have cross-dressed in order to escape from mandatory military service.

SINGLE-SEX THEATRICAL TROUPES
Some performers cross-dress in order to play roles intended for the opposite sex. Cross-dressing, particularly the depiction of males wearing dresses, is often used for comic effect onstage and onscreen.

What's keeping away from the computer

Hey guys, I wasn't able to write things about my rants and everything these week aside from my bday...The reason is, I've been caught up between school works and researches. well, I guess those two are different matters, right?

I changed my investigatory project. Why? because as i made further studies on my bacterium to find its host plant, I came across an article which says that P. Aeruginosa is the second major pathogen. Well, Pseudomonas Aeruginosa is a known human pathogen which causes cancer, pneumonia and other diseases which can often lead to ones death. Sir Abel, of General Santos City's Department of Agriculture told me that if i would like to, i could change my Study because he's afraid that I'll be able to acquire a disease from that virulent bacterium. So, that's what i did. I changed my bacterium but not the plant that I am going to use against it. Get it?..

This is my previous research:

"The Anti-bacterial Effect of yerba Buena (Clinopodium Douglassi) Leaves Extract against Pseudomonas Aeruginosa"

Now:

"The Effectivity of Yerba Buena (Clinopodium Douglassi) Leaves Extract against Rhizopus Nigricans "

..and so..I need to revise everything and that means i need to change all the things that I wrote from the Introduction down to Methodologyand next will be my Experiment. i'm glad Sir Abel will volunteer to help me..Thanks Sir^^....and do you know whens the deadline?it'll be next week-Wednesday... and I just changed my Ip just this week..rawr!

That's All..thank yar'

Another EntreCard thing~
